Meet the CATO Unit Crew: Jack Borghesi

July 2024

Jack started with CATO close to ten years ago, initially as a traffic controller and barricader, before his natural progression into CATO’s unit division as assistant and now manager.

Some of his most notable work as unit manager was on set of Stan’s first season, Bump, Binge’s highly acclaimed romcom drama Collin From Accounts and a recent BBC TV series Return To Paradise.

As the “eyes and ears of production and crew” Jack’s role is to evaluate and project the production’s efficiency to ensure it runs smoothly whilst overseeing logistics and nurturing the wellbeing of crew on set. His favourite and most valued part of any job; is the team.

At CATO, Jack values the sense of community that has been effortlessly nurtured over the past decade, the ability to work within the industry he loves most, and values the continued collaboration he shares with the business.

Beyond work, Jack highly values his down time, and spending time supporting the film industry, frequenting local cinemas and watching specialty films. Of late, he thoroughly enjoyed Netflix’s hilarious sci-fi sitcom Rick and Morty.
