AUSFILM – March 2023: CATO, Australia's largest Unit Service.

CATO Location Services now have the largest Unit Service in Australia, having built relationships within the industry over the past ten years. Catering for anywhere between 4 and 400 people, the CATO Unit team have previously worked on notable productions such as Mad Max: Fury Road, Nine Perfect Strangers and The Invisible Man.

Despite disruptions within the industry over the past two years, CATO’s Unit Crew have kept busy working on a number of exciting productions around Australia.

Last year the team worked on National Geographic’s Limitless, a six-part documentary series featuring Chris Hemsworth. With four Unit Managers on the production, CATO provided Unit services across various locations from Far North Queensland to the Blue Mountains NSW.

This year the department is busier than ever. Unit Manager Jack Borghesi has recently finished up on Vanishing Act: Underbelly and is now working hard on The Twelve, a highly anticipated new courtroom series from Foxtel. During the past three months, the team has also worked on Neighbours, The Secret She Keeps Season 2, Heart Break High, Class of ’07 and Russel Crowe’s new feature film, Poker Face.
