CATO Group recognised as finalists across six categories in the NSW Business Awards 2025
CATO Group is proud to announce it’s achievement in being named finalists across six categories in the prestigious NSW Business Awards 2025 – Sydney Region.
April 2025
Craig Hunter joined CATO Location Services back in April 2016, leaving behind a career in engineering. He initially joined CATO in the early days as a Traffic Controller and over the past decade has grown into one of CATO’s most respected leaders— from Senior Unit Manager and now as Traffic Manager.
With a background as a qualified architect and draftsman, Craig brings a unique perspective to his work. He’s been instrumental in shaping the way we approach traffic planning, and today, he draws up many of the complex Traffic Management plans that underpin our Major Film and TV, and Event projects.
His deep knowledge and hands-on experience have seen him contribute to some incredible productions, including Limitless with Chris Hemsworth and Heartbreak High, among many others.
Beyond work, Craig lives for the great outdoors. He spends his free time surfing, fishing, and getting off-road in his 4×4—usually somewhere near the beach. A fun fact? He’s a clean freak and loves staying organised—traits that definitely come in handy when juggling multiple departments and high-stakes projects.
For Craig, the best part about working at CATO is the camaraderie among the team and the ever-changing locations they get to explore. From construction sites to film sets, he’s always up for the challenge—and brings a strong sense of leadership wherever he goes.
