CATO Group is proud to announce it’s achievement in being named finalists across six categories in the prestigious NSW Business Awards 2025 – Sydney Region. These nominations celebrate the organisation’s innovation, resilience, leadership, and commitment to sustainability across the Traffic Management, Security, event logistics, and urban transformation sectors.

The Sydney Business Awards recognise and honour businesses that drive economic growth, create local jobs, and contribute to the well-being of communities across the North, South, Eastern Sydney, and CBD. CATO’s multi-category recognition highlights both it’s operational excellence and the exceptional contributions of its people.

Outstanding Employee

Brodie Arabi, Logistics Manager

Brodie Arabi has played a pivotal role in transforming internal operations at CATO through strategic innovation and technology adoption. One of his standout achievements is leading the rollout of Monday.com and Verizon Connect, streamlining workflows, increasing accountability, and enhancing cross-team collaboration across the organisation.

Brodie’s leadership also extends to CATO’s sustainability journey. He successfully secured government grants that funded the rollout of the company’s first electric vehicle (EV) fleet—a significant step towards reducing emissions. Managing the grant application process from start to finish, he ensured compliance with regulations while aligning outcomes with CATO’s environmental goals.

By combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, Brodie delivers lasting improvements that strengthen operational efficiency, sustainability, and team performance.

Outstanding Young Business Leader

Anna Rosa, Operations Manager

As Operations Manager, Anna Rosa leads CATO’s core business operations, oversees client experience, and drives organisational performance. Her role spans leadership of client-facing departments, operations, safety and compliance, and financial oversight—ensuring each area operates with efficiency and upholds CATO’s high standards.

Anna has been instrumental in introducing streamlined systems and workflows that have improved scalability and accountability across the company. As the youngest member of the senior management team, she has embraced the challenge of driving change, fostering growth, and mentoring team members through tailored development plans.

Her ability to pair strategic oversight with a people-first approach has made her a standout leader in Sydney’s traffic management sector.

Outstanding Business Leader – 21 Employees and Over

Kieran Cato, Managing Director

As Managing Director, Kieran Cato combines visionary leadership with active involvement in day-to-day operations. His guidance has been pivotal in steering CATO through market shifts, leading a strategic diversification into civil construction and government contracts that safeguarded jobs and positioned the business for long-term resilience.

His commitment to staff development has resulted in initiatives that improve workplace satisfaction and foster career progression. He has been instrumental in providing and fostering sustainable career paths for those in the Film and TV space, providing them with opportunities at CATO.

Outside the business, Kieran contributes to the community through Youth Off The Streets, has participated in five consecutive Vinnies CEO Sleepouts—raising over $40,000 for homelessness services—and serves on the board of Screen Careers. His innovative, solutions-focused mindset has been central to CATO’s reputation as an industry leader.
